RUBENS CIVNI
Rubens was created with the aim of establishing production and a marketing system which would guarantee the best standards at all levels. This variety is a 1988 "Gala x Elstar" hybrid from Ferrara selected by C.I.V. It is an apple with an attractively coloured skin which has red orange streaks on a green yellow background. Ripens 10- 15 days after "Gala". Excellent organoleptic properties and commercial acceptance. The flesh is juicy and fresh with a good acidity sweetness balance.
