MELA GAIA*
Large size fruit, larger than the "Gala". Round shape, regular, slightly flattened at the ends. The skin is greenish yellow with red striped overtones on 70-80% of the surface. The flesh is fine, cream coloured, crunchy and juicy. The taste of "Gaia" is very good, sweet and with an intense flavour. The fruit is not subject to clefting and pre-harvest early drop. Ripe between the end of August and the first ten days of September and conserves well.
