NASHI PLUMPY
Also from Korea; this fruit is perfectly round and very large (approx. 400 - 500 g), with a dark bronze skin that turns yellow gold when fully ripe and flesh with a distinctive nutty aftertaste. Ripens from the end of September to the end of October. The special features that distinguish the "Nashi" from the more common "Pear" are: the round, squashed shape very similar to that of an apple; the dense, juicy and crispy flesh; the golden bronze skin; the particularly refreshing pleasant flavour.
