NASHI DELI
The "Pyrus pyrifolia" Asian pear was originally from central China, where it is called "Li" whilst the term "Nashi" is Japanese for pear. This variety is a cultivar from the Korean peninsula, with a shape that isn't always regular, having slight lumps at the tip. A large fruit (approx. 400 g), its flesh is very sweet and juicy. The skin is orangey red. Ripens from the end of September to the beginning of October. Good preservability.
