GIORGIO RZ (34-704 RZ)
A new variety of the "Western Shipper" type melon obtained after lengthy screening by Rijk Zwaan. Grown exclusively out in the field. The strong plant sets well and is very productive. The round- oval shape of the fruits, the excellent dense, clear meshing, the firm orange flesh, the small placental cavity and excellent constant sugar level, are the best features of "Giorgio RZ". Withstands handling and keeps well after harvesting. Very popular with the distribution network and consumers.
